After a successful outing 2016, the 2017 edition of the Next Economy Track 1 program kicked-off early this month. This followed an application process that saw over 300 entries received almost double the entries from 2016. All was set for the next Six (6) Months of the program by 10am that wonderful April 1st Saturday morning and the venue was Merit House Maitama just besides the hub.
Yes! we had a full house as participants started arriving as early as 9:30am at the venue. With hopes so high they reached the clouds, a lots of the participants were willing to share their business ideas and career goals with us. Such amazing bundles of raw talents on display, awaiting the Six (6) months refining process to building their Next Economy.
Participants from the 2016 program run were on ground to serve as a great source of motivation, they were so full of delight at seeing new faces and took time to share their experiences from the program. Notably Precious Tochi of Smarter Languages and Priscillia Udorah of Prissy’s Touch trilled the audience with what they described as fulfillment in having their own business and having the ability to employ people.
Participants were then educated on the itinerary of the Next Economy program commencing with the initial Make it work program which would proceed into the Get it Started. Participants then used the opportunity to express their reservation and sort clarification on some issues they anticipated. All of these were effectively handle by the representatives from Fate Foundation, SOS Children Villages, GOTNI and enspire.
The first session of classes commenced the following weekend and is due to run for the next Six (6). To all participants of the program, we say a huge congratulations and we look forward to hearing your success story at the end of the program…
